In 2015, a small group of citizens from Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Oceano, got together to create a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization - Friends of Five Cities Fire Authority.
MISSION STATEMENT
Friends of Five Cities Fire Authority act as advocates to enhance community fire safety and emergency procedures; that better serve the citizens of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Oceano. Friends will conduct and promote fundraising activities that meet public safety goals of the Five Cities Fire Authority that include but are not limited to updating of equipment, training of firefighters and improving fire stations.
PURPOSE
The purpose of Friends of Five Cities Fire Authority is to maintain a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization governed and administered by a board of directors who follow defined bylaws in its advocacy for and funding of fire authority emergency services delivery needs. This community group will advocate for identified needs, set goals, raise funds, administer funds, and disperse funds to meet specific unfunded needs of the Five Cities Fire Authority.
Friends of Five Cities Fire Authority is an all volunteer organization and 100% of our funding and grant acquisitions go to support your fire authority and the firefighters who risk their lives to protect our lives and property.
We welcome and are seeking Corporate and Community Partner Friends. No time for membership but still want to be supportive? Donations gladly accepted and appreciated!
